There are many ways by which alumni can stay connected with each other and with the university. By volunteering your time and expertise you will be involved directly in Ashesi’s mission of creating a new generation of ethical and entrepreneurial leaders for Africa.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Serve on the Alumni Council: The Alumni Council works to develop new and interesting programs for the Alumni community.  We nominate new members to the Alumni Council bi-annually.  Please email us if you are interested on serving on the Alumni Council:

• Become a mentor: Please sign up to participate in our mentorship programme and help direct the success of a current Ashesi student. Read more about the Mentorship Programme and sign up if you are interested!

• Interview admissions candidates: Each year we interview hundreds of candidates for admission to Ashesi.  Help us recruit the best and brightest students by serving as an interviewer.  Admissions occurs between December and June each year.  Interviews are scheduled individually and can be arranged to fit your schedule.  If you are interested and would like more information please email us at
