Currently Ashesi has on-campus housing that will accommodate just over a quarter of our student body.  The limited housing that is available on campus was constructed using loan financing and must be offered to students at commercial rates.  These rates are too high for the poorest in our community. See the President's Strategic Plan for more information.  We need to build more housing to ensure that students from all walks of life can live and work together on campus.  Here are some ways you can help.

Supporting the construction of student housing

We are currently raising $500,000 to support the construction of a new student dormitory.  Contributions towards the dormitory building will help us build a space where the future leaders of Africa will come to be nurtured and inspired.

Provide scholarships for students from poor backgrounds

The scholarship funds you provide not only support tuition fees but also provide housing for students from backgrounds of poverty.  No amount is too small or too big for a contribution to this fund.  Gifts are used directly to provide funding for scholarship students on campus.
