In an increasingly interconnected world, it is now more important than ever for people from all nations to learn about cultures other than their own. Studying abroad has long been recognized as a particularly effective way for students to gain such insight, by immersing them in foreign cultures. Ashesi's Study Abroad and exchange programs provides a unique opportunity for international students to experience life and learning in Ghana.
Ashesi University is a part of this transformation as it leads the way in curriculum reform for higher education in Africa. Its unique academic program blends the liberal arts and Africana studies with professional fields such as business administration and computer science. From cultural classes in Africana studies, to courses in economics, creative writing and design, Ashesi provides an opportunity for international students to experience and reflect upon a wide array of issues and ideas that have shaped Ghana and the world.
